​You are an author!  The more your reader knows about you, the better.  They need to associate with you on a personal level, so they feel inclined to purchase your book.  Readers need to relate to their author and they love to know you are human!  So, tell them what prompts you to write, if you have hobbies and possibly tell something querky or unusual, they don't expect to hear.  They need to remember you.
