On May 6th, 2023, King Charles III was officially crowned our new King. He is the son of the late Queen Elizabeth II. He is a Prince and just like his mother, he had to learn a lot about the job. It's taken him a lifetime. Learn about his royal duties, his life as Monarch and his role in protecting the planet.
Meet Queen CamillaQueen Camilla become our new Queen - on May 6th, 2023. Formally, she was known as HRH the Duchess of Cornwall. She will support King Charles with his royal duties and various charities. Queen Camilla isn't your typical Queen and will have to learn a lot about her role and being royal. Westminster AbbeyWestminster Abbey is one of the most famous churches in history. Kings and Queens have married there; Princes and Princesses have all been baptised and christened there; and sadly, funerals have also taken place there.
On May 6th, 2023, the King's Coronation took place and Westminster Abbey was buzzing with activity for two weeks prior. Everything had to be just right, for the happy day. |
